About the Author

Daniel D. Hickey is a dad who loves to write.  He dedicated his debut book, A Classic Path Through High School, to his three sons as they enter the tumultuous adolescent years.

Drawing on his Jesuit high school and college education, his classic stories guide readers to discover their unique individual characteristics so they can reach their full potential.  In a rebuttal to popular relativism, he presents a Socratic view of truth as the path to all that is good. 

Hearing echoes of the Cultural Revolution in our post-pandemic world, Dan Hickey sees a need to refocus on the eternal truths of life always present from classical times until now.  He plans to write occasional blog posts at AClassicPath.com with lessons of life relevant to his family of five who reside in New York City, and people of all ages interested in reading.
